This piece dates back to 1979, when David was part of a band called Easy Action. He came up with a concept for the band’s logo, one that began as a playful, unconventional experiment. In a spontaneous moment of creativity, David sketched the design on his then-girlfriend’s back, sparking both a nervous laughter and inspiration.
That single idea evolved into a press kit and eventually a promotional poster that, as David fondly admits, achieved more fame than the band itself. Decades later, he revisited and reimagined the design, giving it new life while preserving its original spirit of rebellion and fun.
Easy Action stands as both a nod to his musical past and a celebration of artistic freedom. Available for purchase.
